I forgot to mention, one of your best posts for me that I remember was you starting a thread in June wishing me a happy birthday. Thanks again for that kind gesture.

John

Hah, they are investments for my boy TR. Rupert to the UK is like Rolex to the Swiss in bear terms. Steiff and Merrythought make some great ones and we are snapping them up as we find them.

When he's 21 he can flog the lot and buy himself a new ss Daytona or a gallon of petrol (depending on which is more valuable in 2029.)

I see...I see...
I read in the news paper a long time a go about that Bear.
My advice is, givce your comics collection to your son when he already grow up. The value of your comic collection will be crazy in the future.
Thanks Pal!!!

TR - BIG CONGRATULATIONS on passing 4,000 - wow!!!

Now all you've got to do is up your game and get the big guy from Aukland in your sights - only another 40,000+ to go .

Anyway, fantastic achievement, pal - keep it up !!

That's a good one, TR .

From a UK perspective, he seems to come out at night, spreading his tentacles throughout the Forums.

His main interests seem to be:

1) Cleavage
2) Sheep (lots of them)
3) Talks a lot about 'Tossers'
4) Oh yes, occasionally Rolex

He's quite shy and retiring (not!), but a great guy, too and as the man himself would say . . . end of story!
