No debate, the DSSD, and DSSD-blue pieces are wonderful. I think the 'dressy' part is what confuses things. Given your collection, you like colors, I suggest going with the piece with the most color.

This thread delivered, exactly what I was looking for. I am on the waitlist and should be very soon coming to "my turn" with the DSSD Blue. The problem of course being that you just cant get a physical piece in your hand. I love seeing pictures of it on the wrist in different light. It really pops and makes me even more sure to get that instead of the normal DSSD black.

When I bought my ND, I was between the Deep Sea and the ND and l decided to get the latter. Back then, the deepsea was around $8800 if I recall well (Mayors Miami). The ND $5500. A week ago at the dealer's I realized my mistake. If I had the deepsea I was going to make money by selling it now.. A few months ago I sold my ND for as much as I bought it 6-7 years ago..

Thanks everyone for all your comments, just love this 'big' Rolex.
Wore my Black Bay to work today, all day missed my new model, as soon as I got home put the DSSD back on, it feels so good, you really know it's there. Now thinking about the other big models. I think I might have a problem SubC & GMT seem a bit small now by comparison, still great pieces. Three Rolexs should be enough, shouldn't they?

The DSSD is a man's watch. I wouldn't say it's dressy, but with 8.5" wrists I think it would look pretty awesome. It's definitely one on my radar.

If you have 8.5" wrists then I'd get the DSSD Blue.

Boom! I'd go with either one of these, but given that you seem to like more colour in your watches maybe the Deep Blue is the way to go for you. You might also consider a Daytona since your at the price point for one with the DB.
Good luck choosing!
