Yes. I test mine in multiple positions. Crown up, face down etc. if it's adjusted right in 5 positions then it should be close in each. I have seen some of my watches plus 7 and minus 8 type of a deal in different positions.
Thanks, Everett AP 15710 Diver Sent from my iPhone |

Been a while since I visited here.
More than a year ago, I had a very similar issue as this with my ROO. Perfect time when not worn but almost a minute gained every day when worn for a few hours daily. Took it to the service centre and explained the problem. They ended up servicing the watch (was still under warranty) and since then it has run perfectly. |

Thanks for your sharing mate, I'll wait and see how it runs after weeks then to decide whether it needs to be regulated. |

You mean 12hrs rest with crown down position without any wearing and it gained 8s?
If that's the case then I think you definitely need to take a trip to APSC for inspection and regulation. As far as I known cal.3120 tends to run fast when it's worn as a result yours will most likely gains more than 15 seconds or even 20 seconds over 24hrs with the combination of wearing and resting. |

I'm going to call APSC I think the will send me box/kit to send it in. |

Why would it run fast on the wrist? I tend to wear my watches for a week at a time and take them off to shower.

AP had an issue with using mainsprings that were too strong and it would cause what they called a rebanking issue. Off the wrist they are spot on but when you are active and the watch is at full power reserve and still being wound the movement would run fast. This was with the early 3120 movements and from what I could tell had been resolved with the later H series serials. My SS diver and 15400 would be spot on off the wrist but would gain 10-30 seconds a day depending on how active I was. The power reserve on both were around 70 hours. AP serviced both and they were almost spot on since. Ive purchased 6 other APs both H and I serial and none had this rebanking issue.
