I struggled with that exact dilemma. Went w the Sub, got out of it quickly there after - regret it to this day. Ill surely be picking up one of the two again soon. Decisions decisions...

if you use the GMT functionality - get the GMT. if you don't, get the sub.

Close for me. GMT for the smaller clasp, narrower lugs and a better Bezel.. Slightly cheaper as well.

I'd choose the 116718 with black dial if it were an option, but between those two I go Sub. Just not a fan of the green dial, sorry!

OP both are very cool summer type watches, sorry I can't help, however, good luck with your decision!

No one asked but my answer might depend on the rest of your collection. Aesthetics- I think the blue sub is a better looking watch as an objet d'art. It's gorgeous. On the wrist, I think I'd lean towards the GMT- the GMT is more unique and has a bit more personality while simultaneously being a little quieter. Perhaps the YG sunburst sub is a victim of its own success.

Opinions split 50/50 seems like. In the end, you guys were no help at all.
Just kidding. Appreciate the feedback and input. Verdict: Blue dial Sub. Ultra-looking forward to receiving. Thanks all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Really tough choice ... I'd vote the Sub a whisker mainly due to the Glidelock.
Edit, great choice |

Great choice now and get the GMT to keep you warm in winter, that is actually exactly what I did.

Help. 24h to decide. 116618 or 116718
Almost just had a heart attack. Sent payment this morning. Just got a message from dealer it was sent to wrong email address (dealer mistakenly omitted one letter).
Fortunately, was able to sort it out. Whew. Will be relieved and super happy when I have the watch in hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
