I love mine. Great bang for buck watch, I got mine BNIB with warranty card for $3,100.

I have been wearing the heck out of it.
It has been making me forget I own a SubC, Daytona, and Explorer II

Have black Pelagos and SD4000 and Pelagos gets 80% of the wear. As others have said it and a Rolex are different watches so really comes down to what you want in the watch. Pelagos is no nonsense under the radar in a way, but in another way the watch will get noticed for its uniqueness and generally people love it. Some say it looks cheap or plastic like but I feel the simple aesthetics are well done and actually look higher end. I think that is what gets the Pelagos noticed.

I've been intrigued by the Pelagos recently. I tried it on, and definitely feels a bit weird going to a full titanium watch. I was wearing my Milgauss that day (which is pretty heavy), so the contrast was interesting.

I've thought it would be interesting to wear something so light daily as like a beater, and maybe I would appreciate the lightness of it. But at this point, I have a few Seikos for real beaters and have watches I love to wear daily, so not really in a place to spend that kind of money on a watch to knock around, so its a few rungs down on my "to buy" list, but I do love it.

I think the Pelegos is a great watch. Case, fit wear, movement, lume, etc. I purchased the blue soon after arrival from my AD and can not be happier with a watch. I wear it to exercise, swim ect and don't think about any issues. I have owned several DSSD and for the money I prefer the Pelegos. It is also my most accurate watch at plus or minus 1 second a day. Is it a Rolex, no. But it is not created to be one. A fun watch.

Personally I like black better. Matching clothing easier.

Love mine. Add others have said, looks are stunning - the watch gets noticed. In-house movement is fantastic. Current timing run, watch is one second fast after 26 days.

I was hell-bent on purchasing the Blue Pelagos based on pictures and reviews alone. A lumed beze?! Doesn't get any better than that!! I took a little trip to the AD, saw one in the case, and got my credit card ready. Then I tried it on.... I hated it on my wrist. The titanium felt so light that I thought I was wearing something you'd fish out from the bottom of a cereal box, despite its larger case. The bezel and dial are so "matte" that they appear to be plastic, even if they are not. I was sorely disappointed, and must say that I will never purchase one for myself. Having said that, I think they do look nice on other peoples wrists, it's just not for me. Perhaps wearing Rolex and Panerai SS models just makes my wrist yearn for a little weight.

Well I struck out today......both AD's I stopped at were out of stock of both watches. I will have to call a few more places next week.

Completely agree with the crown. I flipped mine after 1 week for an 116610.

Had one for a month earlier this year after wanting one for a few years to complement my Speedmaster. Loved a lot of things about it but ultimately it was too big for me. Plus as awesome as the matte finished were, especially the bezel, it felt a little dead overall.

Ending up flipping it for a 16570 Explorer II which has been great. And I am not a serial flipper, the Pelagos just didn't work out. I still think the design is great, the lume, the bezel, the chaper ring, the markers, the snowflake hands, etc are all excellent. Just wasn't for me at the end of the day.
