Bamford is polarizing among WIS - but they don't seem to have trouble finding customers who want something Rolex, PP, AP, etc. won't provide.

I do like some Bamford pieces, tho not very many at all.

And yes I can believe they are making piles of money from customization of high end watches. More power to them!
