I chose the black. Not a big fan of the GV, and although white is cool, it's a little too flashy for me. I consider the black to be the perfect combination of class and character.

Black for me but you'll have to decide what works for you.

I like the Black vs. White. I believe it stands out a little more.

thanks for all the fantastic photos!! man it really is a hard decision. even though I'm not a huge fan of the blue GV, seeing fantastic photos makes me second guess haha....
but yeah, I think I really am drawn to the black dial! I like the white very much too, but I don't think I'd be comfortable wearing that to more serious work (corporate) events. Some have pointed out, it is a FAIRLY thick watch.... I have only 6.5 inch wrists, and while I found it wore fine on my wrist, it is definitely close and borderline too big. My biggest gripe actually that I've noticed, is the space between the end of the lugs and the base plate that forms underneath the watch when you have it on wrist... particularly on my small wrists, it seems really pronounced... I'm having such second thoughts now, because even though I loved the black dial when I tried it on, I feel like the size factor could definitely bother me over time... so maybe an Explorer 114270 could be the way to go? I also love that watch, but it's a completely different vibe... If the milgauss was 38 or 37mm (and a decent bit thinner), I feel like it would be absolutely PERFECT. A pity that all the new rolex sports watches with the updated clasps are so oversized. I love the brushed and polished bracelets, but the new gen Exp2's, Exp1, GMT master II's, and Sub's are just all out of proportion IMO compared to the older models. I wasn't initially looking at datejusts because I saw them as a bit 'too dressy', but maybe a smooth bezel 116200 36mm could be a suitable mid-point... |

You might like the new 11600, which is 36mm. Here is a a link to photos of it, offered in 4 color ways; grey, blue, grape, and white grape. https://www.rolex.com/watches/oyster...6000-0009.html |

I first saw the black with the green glass and thought like it, although when saw it in the flesh I wasn't quite so keen. I really like the black with the clear glass as some have posted here it's stunning!! The white I know isn't as popular but there is something about it. Think my favourite is the blue dial which looks great with the green glass but if going black dial I think it has to be the clear glass model although finding one may be difficult now.

I'd prefer the black dial between the two.

If you want to be more unique get the white one since everyone gets the black.

My opinion
Black is ok, but IMHO lacks a little pizazz; I love my GV, the green crystal making a big difference, but I really like the white too. Very crisp dial, and I've never seen a white Milly in the wild. Excellent discounts on these too. You really cant go wrong. Great watch.

glad to see the Blue on rubber.... confirms to me that I prefer the Oyster band, not that the rubber looks wrong but I personally prefer the SS look. Rubber rocks on my PAM's though!

Love the white. Thought about buying that and a bunch of different colored perlon straps and rotate those instead of the bracelet.

I like the milgauss...Any flavor is cool with me. The Green Crystal variation may be a notch above IMO.

I only have a 6.5 inch wrist and I believe the watch looks absolutely fine on my wrist. Its not to large at all. Others may disagree, but its how it truly feels to you and not them. I have had watches of the same size which have been a lot thicker and in my opinion this watch is not that thick and It doesn't feel top heavy at all. Not like my Planet Ocean does. Some more pictures below. P.S the watch is also so comfortable to wear, I sometimes forget that it is there under my cuff.
