Do. It. Now. Stop thinking about it, X5M? That is an awesome car. You won't regret it, AND you will enjoy it every single drive. Now go get that bad boy!!!

I looove the exterior of the GLE63. I loooove the bark from the AMG engine/exhaust. The interior was a huge letdown. They went through the Chrysler parts bin on that one. I can't look at the outside of the car while I'm driving.

Like I told you Paul, wait a few weeks to see the monster done!

I love the car threads guys. Keep them comin. Seth both great looking cars. So many X5's out ther that the RR probably gets a little more "coolness" factor but we all know what's under that BMW hood.

I bet you won't wait a whole year to get the car, 6 months max.

I'm currently itching to trade up my C63 for an E63 but I kept telling myself that the lease expires in 6 months, just me patient. I've got an appointment to see one next week. Let's see how I deal with temptation.

I hope neither of you can be as patient as you are today. I can't wait to see the pictures.

You should drive my Crown Vic with white wall tires!!! You'll be hooked. Next thing you know, you'll hike your pants up over your belly button and randomly yell at neighborhood kids.

[\QUOTE]

I just finished a two hour trip to a potential job site. The RRS is truly a pleasure to drive. And with 510 hp, not currently feeling a lack of power. And to be honest, I like the looks of the RRS better. It's a close call really. But I've always been a fan.

That said, the reviews on the M are shockingly strong. I've never seen reviewers so overwhelmingly positive.

Alas, we do not have money to burn. The last few years have been solid business wise, and we have done a lot to prepare for the future. But as a small owner, having excessive cash flow is always my top priority. Spending on something like this, with the very unstable near future (not going into politics can, but I'm certain you guys get what I mean), this would not be a smart move. I'll see how the first two quarters go and determine best course of action going forward.

That said, if 2017 is even close to as good as 2016, it'll be a no brainer before the end of the year.

In regards to the wife, I fully support divorce. Life is short, and in the end, it's important that we all do what works best for us as individuals. But I've got to say, I love being married. My wife is super sweet, smart, witty and all the things I've ever wanted in a life partner. She's also 10 years younger than me, a spin teacher and way hotter than I deserve. She rarely gives me grief over anything, so when she does, I pay attention.

Lastly, def have the new Jeep on the radar as well. Those pictures that Paul provided via the link look good. Really good. I do think I like the more refined interior the rest of the class currently has, but it's on the radar for sure.

In the end, if I have it my way, this will be a super year and I'll have a nice incoming to post pictures of.

All the best to you guys. Enjoyed this dialogue.

The donnington grey is great color and the X5M is a fantastic machine.

I was desperately looking for one last summer and couldn't find one within 1300 miles of Miami

I agree through that there is plenty of room for negotiating this last week of the year

Thanks for the tease. You're not helping! I'm going to try out both versions of the E63, the naturally aspirated vs the twin turbo V8. I wish I could justify buying the latest version. 0-100kph around 3.5s. That's just mind blowing! For now, I'll be more than happy with the previous E63. I'd prefer to let someone else wear the hefty depreciation first.

Interesting. I know several engineers at BMW here in SC where the X series are made. I'll find out what's next. Maybe they'll give me a picture or two to post.

Only Mercedes could make driving a station wagon cool. Well, Cadillac tried and did a pretty good job, but the E63 is just bonkers. Of course, it is a lot more expensive than the CTS-V.

Agreed - I also had an S124 for years that was modified for handling.

Yep waiting to replace our f15 for the new one or whenever they push out the new GLE, I hope soon. The current GLE interior is hideous.

But have you seen the new new E class interior? It is amazing. Exterior is downright disappointing tho when I saw it IRL.

OP, I am a huge BMW fan. Just got tired of their current selection for the time being. That being said, X5M is a great bang for buck vehicle. The tech on it, MB or Porsche doesnt' even come close. The interior is pretty refined even after on year 4. Looks miles better than the GLE. However if you wait another year, they should have the new X5 out which should make it that much harder to decide, at least for me. New vs Old, I always like new more.

Or you could just forgo the RR Fat like I did for this lol
