The over-riding opinion on this forum will be to wear the watch whenever you want and not care what other people think. I completely agree with this logic! Enjoy it, you've earned it! Congrats and welcome! I too am in sales and rewarded myself to a Rolex after the a good year financially. So I know your exact situation and have struggled with your conundrum. The good news is, your Explorer is a fly below the radar Rolex.
Just fyi, I picked up an second hand Omega SMP as my alternative daily watch so when I visit customers that might take in a different light...I wear that one. Plus its basically bulletproof and can take a beating. |

I have been wearing a Rolex while selling Air Conditioners since 1986. I had a good 2016 also so I picked up a brand new Yacht Master. If someone notices they probably are a fan and it makes for great conversation about your appreciation for quality.
