Tag isn't my flavor ...
The Breitlings are really nice and I do like Breitling...
Although top choice would be Daytona C in this scenario...

They are all great and historical watches. There is no bad choice for a WIS.

Yes, Daytona is my choice of those pictured - like the heritage of the Breitling but not their designs so much.

I'd pick the D500, but I've owned 2 Breitling chronos, very good watches and the pilot bracelet was probably as nice if not nicer than the oyster when sans glidelock.

Nothing wrong with Breitling or Heuer, but I much prefer the Daytona out of those. Also, Breitlings look better on strap IMO as I don't like that bracelet design. YMMV.

Breitlings make the best leather and croco/gator straps for my money.

The Daytona by a mile! The Breitlings are far too cluttered looking and the Tag, well it's a Tag.

Of those four Daytona by a mile. Now throw a Speedy Pro in the mix and things get more interesting.

I actually had a Tag very close to your model...and loved it. What a great watch. I stupidly sold it a while back.

It remains one of a very short list I wish I had back out of all the watches that I've flipped.

But...the D500 would have to take top honors for me from that group.

My wife bought me the Tag Heuer for my 40th birthday so I treasure it and will never sell it though it doesn't get much wrist time.

Yes by a long way, I like the 41mm Chronomat though.

Yeah, I don't understand the disdain I see for Breitling around here sometimes. They're not my thing, personally, but they have quite a history.

I'm pretty sure this guy out earns most of us in these forums, and he collects Breitlings.

Is the Daytona your favourite of these 4 chronos?

The Chronomat is beautiful but they spoilt recent models a touch with the 'Galactic' bezel and the 'Square' on the dial....in late 2014 they released the Chronomat Airborne models with a traditional bezel and no square on the dial so that's why I bought a 41mm with white dial and 44mm with black dial. Both very different watches for different occasions:

And this is the normal Chronomat with galactic bezel and the square:

IMO the Daytona trumps the others.

I would echo some of the other posts about the Speedy. As you are fortunate to have a large wrist I think you would rock one of these very easily

Or maybe ad the white dial DaytonaC

I love those Brietling bracelets for comfort, but all that shiny metal is a bit too much for me these days. I like the looks of the Tag face, but I personally find their bracelets grab too much arm hair.
