What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

That looks like a yawn. Lions are incredibly boring animals, they lie around sleeping for 95% of the time. The other 5% is eating and fornicating. If you're very lucky you'll see them on the hunt, but most people only see them lounging around yawning.

We had an unofficial competition among the pilots when I was there to get photos of lions doing something interesting (which is no mean feat) the winner was a friend who managed to photograph one taking a dump.

Here are two. One drinking and the other marking his territory. Do I win free rides for a year?

The one marking his territory is definitely a contender. Nice shot

Funny... The 1st time you see anything live you burn a whole roll off film on it. (Film/Old Guy). Pretty soon you want to see them eating something, and then you ratchet it up and want to them kill something, and then eat it.

The only thing I can recall from this particular trip was watching a lion kill a hyena that must have been a threat to her cubs, This was back around 1971 or 2 at the bottom of the Ngorongoro Crater (sp?) in Tanzania.

Been back several times since, but have not done the photo safari ride,

I found after several years of photographs (living there) that the small things became more interesting. Having photographed every animal from every angle doing any number of interesting things, you start looking closer at what else is around.

The insects are amazing, moths bigger than my hand, Massive ants the size of house flies, solifugaes (believe me you won't sleep when you know one of those is in the house). Dung beetles were great fun too, they actually make little speaking noises if you handle them. I even photographed a grass hopper stealing one of my dog's biscuits one day.

Great pics!

To this day our Safari experience was our greatest holiday ever, never to be forgotten.

We saw lions attempting to stalk a giraffe. They didn't stand a chance
