I had a Tudor Rose Sub (7928?) bought new in 1971. Sadly, it was stolen in 1994. I still have the box and guarantee paper. The papers just say Watch No. 360. In 2000, I bought a replacement, but it's just not the same. The serial on that one is 571348 (it's the one in the picture below).

Maverick, does your Tudor have "T Swiss" only. No "T Swiss T"? Or is that just the way the picture came out?

Hi all
I've logged on to try and find some information about a Ladies Gold Tudor that I inherited. I'd like to contribute the information requested in this thead, but don't know where to find it on my own watch. In complete contrast to all the watches on this thread my ladies Gold Tudor is incredibly lightweight and dainty. It has a tiny square face (about 12mm each side with a square glass raised above the level of the watch, with what looks like a ivory coloured fabric background, it has arabic numbers in gold at 12, 2,4,6,8,and 10 and long thin triangles of gold at the other stations with gold hands. It has the 1947+ Tudor Rose logo. Two circular scroll shapes arise at each side of the face, unusually vertically to hold the gold strap (which may be a Mainline one - not sure, but that's what a jeweller once told me). Interestingly it is fairly straightforward to drop the watch face and mechanism and back out of the front of the case, but I can't find that the case is marked once this is done - I would expect to find a hallmark since the case is clearly gold, but so far I can't find any markings on this watch, except for the word Tudor and the 1947+ rose on the face under the number 12 and Swiss Made at the bottom of the face. If anyone can suggest where I should be looking I'm happy to check for numbers, but if anyone recognises this watch (and I can't find it anywhere on the internet) I'd be happy for some information on it. |

Help with Serial Number
Hi -
I am new to the forum and love Tudor watches. I am currently looking to purchase a Tudor model #94613 from a dealer who states that the serial number on the watch is 96971. I have asked him to confirm this and he states that it is correct and that he owns another Tudor with a 5 digit serial number as well. Is it possible that this is the correct serial number? Looking at the serial number list, it looks like all Tudor serial numbers have 6 digits or 6 digits and a letter. Any help would be useful. Thanks -Jeremy ([email protected]) |

Love it.
I have one question: What the heck is the anchor for? OK, I lied, I have another question: Where do you find all of these wonderful Tudors? Greg |

The anchor was an accessory that came w/ Tudor and Rolex Subs as well as Rolex Sea Dwellers. This was stopped a few years ago. Finding vintage Tudors requires due diligence scouring the net after you've done the proper research to determine what reference is your favorite. Good luck, dP
