The gf gives me the side-eye when she catches me snapping candid pics of her. Then I tell her the pics are going to a male-dominated watch forum, at which point I get the full-on glare! Lol. I'm dying to see how she reacts when she finds out that her likeness has inspired the watch tastes of an actual TRF female. Will inform her later and post results! |

The watch looks great on you. Hey, Charlize Theron is wearing the 44mm Deepsea D-Blue!
My wife loves the Sub-LV. She is worrying about the same thing. I told her it will look great. Hopefully purchase it in a couple of years for the 5 year Anniversary for her. That way, I can adjust the watch it and borrow it sometime. I must stop by Howard Frum sometime soon. |

I think that SD4K is a PERFECT fit for you! Congrats!! It's not dainty by any stretch, but it's also not overpowering. The perfect watch for someone who's not afraid of a little wrist presence.
I had a similar (but reversed) situation for decades with the GMT2 Pepsi I finally got. For all that time I wrote it off, telling myself that a 40mm watch was too small on my 7 3/4" wrists. Yet I never bothered to find one to try on. And it's magic. :)

Huge congrats! It looks great on you. My gf recently took a liking to my 14060m and she's been wearing it non-stop. Seeing how well it fits her and her personality, I don't mind at all! 40mm Rolex diver on a woman's wrist is a very stylish and attractive look

HUGE fan of a 40mm diver on a woman's wrist. It's got a lot of punch and I really like the image as well. Honestly cooler when I see a woman wearing one vs a man.

Yes, my husband gifted me last year with a Laguna Seca two day trip. He kept asking "if there is one track you would want to ride..." but it never crossed my mind that he had a plan. I had an absolute blast. Posted some pics in Mr. Ruud's F1 commute thread. Loved it. Unfortunately, we had to retire this year. My husband got hurt pretty seriously. He lowsided and while sliding, got hit in the neck and head. He will make a full recovery, but it's a long process. Be safe and ALWAYS wear the best gear you can afford!! I mean, i gave up on having a Rolex or two or three, so i can enjoy this sport and not try to cheap out on tires or gear. You are so right!! Life is short. I always say it! Thank you!!! Hahahahahaha!!!! Thank you!

I'm not normally a fan of big watches on women. I see it here all the time; tiny girls barely 5' tall with spaghetti for arms and wearing huge Rolex, Panerai, AP, etc. divers. I'm not judging but it's not a good look to see someone wearing a watch bigger than their head. But hey, as long as they're happy then that's all that matters.
As for you young lady, that Sub does look pretty damn good on you

Buy either, or buy both! It doesn't really matter because you can always sell it down the road if you don't like either/both.

Naaahhhhh!!!! Buy a fake baby G-shock in pink. Now go to a car dealer and buy a Fiat Multipla in yellow. Afterwards go to court and take all divorce papers existing because your husband will need them in the NEAR future.

It looks fantastic.
He's not going to divorce you. That would cost him way more than the price of the watch, plus you'll end up with it anyway. And a single sub-wearing lady is like a unicorn to the unattached men here, so you could replace him in nothing flat. Tell him the better solution is to have a good cry, then just buy one for himself, it'll save him a ton in long run. Easy peasy. And your sub totally does not make your butt look huge. You'd need a DSSD if that's what you're shooting for. |

Not a fan of the look, looks like your dads watch to me. What is important is do you like it ? Who cares what I think.
