I would like to say I was playing cards and the guy raised me his Porsche and I called with a Mercedes and Ford Truck and won, but It's not so exciting...

My wife gave me the go-ahead, and before she could change her mind, I found the car and already negotiated price with the sales guy...

But that's where the story takes a Turn. She says to me, "No more spending this year! that means no more watches, or parts for the car or anything!

What was i to do? We hadn't even gave the deposit yet. So, Instead of negotiating from a position of power, I was on the ropes. So I tell her OK, just one more Daytona to go along with the car...Right...

Wrong! No Way Jose... My whole being turned inside itself, and i like many of you at one time or another, became humble, no longer the Man-of-the-House, but only a Traveler both thru time and space....

So, no watches for awhile...

On a side note. The GTS you see is the Last of the 911 Naturally Aspirated 911's save for the GT3.

It may not be as comfortable, or quiet or even as much Torque as the newer 991.2 Model, which is virtually almost indistinguishable from the 991.1 but above 4000 RPM's is an Aural delight! A Symphony of mechanical workings.

I actually have a video that I'd like to share where the narrator/driver akin the GTS to a Rolex watch and the BMW I8 to an apple watch...

Nice score, even with the concessions to the wife.

Dude. This car is worth no watches for a decade.

No joke. You’ve got the pinnacle. And already some incredible watches.

You handled this perfectly, imho.

As a former 911 owner I think that one is absolutely phenomenal. I love the color and matching brake calipers and the red touches in the interior. You now own a perfect car.

If you are like I was, you will be constantly polishing it.

Now that is a very special car! Last of the NA flat 6, one of the best motors in automotive business. That car is a keeper, looks really well specd too. Big congrats! Post lots of pics when it is in your hands.
