I wasn’t implying AP had anything to do with it Ken - I am just interested to know AP’s diagnosis of how such a thing might have happened to the numerals as not seen anything quite as bad as that on a 3 yr old watch before.

Yeah, strange that they sent it back like that?? I'd love to know the story behind it but sadly I don't think I'm going to find out!

Very strange...was checking my Elephant that it doesnt have signs of same disease but all looks good (for now)! Good you managed to return it without a hassle. Once new arrives you will enjoy it very much...
