Countries That Make the Absolute Best Manufactured Product(s)
Not sure this answer specifically addresses your subject but I'll post it. There are a lot of countries who may be home base to a product or service considered the best of it's kind (arguable). If one however were to try to identify a single country who's manufacturing base make the greatest number of absolute best or very high quality products I believe that would be Germany.

BC,
If you’re willing to accept a product of an environment as a manufactured product, then I say Nigeria produces the best scammers. Wes |

I have mixed feelings about this. Design is certainly one of their strong suits. Execution... not so much. I've had a number of problems with Ducati motorcycles over the years. Stupid little things like fuel sensors failing, broken shifter return springs and expanding fuel tanks... stuff they can't seem to get a handle on despite years of trying. They are light weight, powerful and beautiful machines but reliability needs improvement.

In regards to your follow-up to Paul's post/query, it's definitely a very subjective question. Is manufacturing as in various forms of women's cosmetic surgeries/treatments also part of the equation? Quote:
Yep. No one makes a pińata like those imported from Mexico and sometimes it's a shame to break them. |

Scott Cook's Lochsa has been a grail for me for many years, but could not snag one in my preferred materials and condition. Scott used to work for Chris Reeve, you probably knew that already.

I had one some years ago but it went when I sold my collection, It was a marvel of engineering precision, I should have kept it.

My Japanese accessories and shoes have held up far better than their European made counterparts. I much prefer my Union Imperial shoes to Edward Green - been disappointed too many times with poor build and materials. |

The US produces about 40 billion pounds of chicken a year, and is the world's largest chicken exporter. Which requires a modern manufacturing process to produce high volume, safe to eat product. From breeder hens laying eggs to final packaging, chicken production employs the most modern manufacturing and production methodologies.

Japan — Honda automobiles are some of the most long lasting vehicles on planet earth
Question, though, if I said USA with Apple products, would I be wrong since the bulk of those are made in China? |

I was actually talking about Japan for this. You will be treated like a King, esp if you have some friends who can get you in on the inside where tourists never go. Different world.

Honda cars for the American market are made in Ohio so the same question would apply.

The manufacturing process might be excellent but the raw material (chickens) isnt so the end product can't be the best. |

Honda makes a superb automobile, but I'd put Toyota atop. I currently own one of each, so it's not just brand image that forms my opinion. |
