IMO diamonds on a watch are both hideous and ridiculous. The diamond bracelet on a guy is an entirely different level of Hell No. For me.

That is not being mean, that is being honest. I would also never tell someone what they should or shouldn't do, or own, or wear. If they want diamonds on their watches, go for it!

But don't ask for opinions if you only want positive responses.

Anything mean and hurtful should definitely not be tolerated.
I don’t wear any jewelry. Never have. It’s not my style.

That said, I don’t feel a need to question a man’s sexuality because he likes to wear jewelry. For that matter, why deride the guy’s style at all? You can be constructive without trying to disrespect someone for their tastes.

We see this on incoming threads. Someone always needs to jump in and say they don’t like the guy’s new watch.

Apologies if I offended anyone with this rant.

What made me disgusted were the members comments that were scrubbed. No need to call anyone a tranny or gay or imply that that jewelry is ok for a rapper. I have all sorts of friends. He did ask for an opinion. Not for derogatory name calling.

Can a mod please tell me if we can talk about this here or not. I'm starting to get confused.

Imho it would be best to just stop this and we all just keep on living. No problems. Relax.

Keschete, you seem to have some issue.
I'll try to make these things clear for you now.
A gender wearing things conceived for the other gender is sending mixed signals.
In the other thread we don't know if the op was doing it on purpose or because of ignorance since he did not take a stance.
Therefore, a psychological disorder could be assumed.
In certain circles the same problematic is discussed with rappers.
The core of the problem is the same, although, certain humans simply reproduce what they are given as example without knowing anything about the example they are given.
When it comes to the name calling.
Some are simply called what they're called.
Why would that be pejorative if it's accurate ?

P.S. this has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas or holiday season. Why did you title this thread so ?

This thread wasn’t about you in particular IMO, but You’ve made it about yourself.

The OP in the other thread was asking for fashion advice. He wasn’t asking for anyone’s opinion of his sexuality. Now, you’re throwing out more conjecture and accusations to defend the indefensible. Let it go man. It’s becoming offensive.

I have been a member here for 10 years. I did not invite you to comment nor accuse you of anything. This post is intended to encourage other members to remember to be nice human beings, especially because at this time of year it is a holiday season that is intended to spread joy and love.

I have referenced the post that upset me because people were curious about why it upset me and some others agree that in general we don’t treat each other very well on occasion.

I’m not sure if your attempts to have this post closed by a moderator are because you feel some kind of guilt, but I assure you that you do not need to continue to read it.

I suggest that you leave me alone. You have your opinions and this is my post. If you would like to start a thread about your opinions then I encourage you to do so.

Again I will encourage those friends I have here to do something positive and be positive and polite to others during Christmas and the Hoilday season.

For those of you who act like naughty children you might be concerned about the Krampus!

He’s checking his list and he knows!

A personal favorite of mine, framed, hung in my office many years. It currently hangs in my guest bathroom... :-) I read it every day to keep myself straight and between the lines.... hahahaaa.

The Guy in the Glass
by Dale Wimbrow (c) 1934

When you get what you want in your struggle for pelf,
And the world makes you King for a day,
Then go to the mirror and look at yourself,
And see what that guy has to say.

For it isn't your Father, or Mother, or Wife,
Who judgement upon you must pass.
The feller whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the guy staring back from the glass.

He's the feller to please, never mind all the rest,
For he's with you clear up to the end,
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
If the guy in the glass is your friend.

You may be like Jack Horner and "chisel" a plum,
And think you're a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.

You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years,
And get pats on the back as you pass,
But your final reward will be heartaches and tears
If you've cheated the guy in the glass.

I recently returned to TRF after not posting for several years. Like all forums people come and people go. It was easy for me to see the change. Many posters feeling the need to show off wealth weather real or perceived. Who cares. Frat boy language. Aggressive posting styles. It was easy to see that the poster who was banned wouldn't be around long. Could just tell. There are several on another thread that probably won't be around long. The mods here do a very good job here I think of cutting these people loose quick enough.

Usually people that let something like a man wearing a bracelet bother them are the ones with the psychological disorders.

and most guys generally would not say half of the stuff they type in real life to an actual person. Im all for opinions, but if you would not walk up to me on the street to say it, then don't type it.

Im 6'5 and a former college athlete. I could wear whatever i wanted and pretty much no one would say anything about it. Its weird how that works and all of a sudden people find that filter

As it should be! Hey, I don’t get a lot of things men wear, (the man bun is probably at the top of the list), bling jewlrey, others I... just... don’t... get. Leave it at that. But know what? IT’S NONE OF MY DAMM BUSINESS. And I certainly have no right to questions a man’s sexual preference or accuse him of having a quote: “Psychological disorder” simply because he chooses to wear a particular piece of jewlrey. We are humans, everyone has their own personal beliefs, Bias, stereotypes etc. Nothing will ever changed that, but what also makes us human is respect of our fellow man. Keep your personal fears, insecurities, bias to yourself and off TRF.
