I think the 31 is dressier than a 36 for a woman. Stepping up to a 36 makes it more casual and sportier.

In that case, you should be able to find just about anything in your budget range. Some others have pointed out a smaller watch is dressier vs larger being more sporty.

Would you rule out any of the following sizes?

26mm (now discontinued)
28mm

If you haven’t already, try these on to see what you think. You could get a Lady Datejust with lots of sparkle or even perhaps a WG Lady Datejust with President bracelet (pre-owned) in the same neighborhood.

When shopping for my wife, we looked at a lot of options. She was continually drawn to the 26mm over the others with the Super Jubilee bracelet (see pic) and like you preferred white metals.

Either way, enjoy the hunt and let us know what you select!

thank you for all the great feedback and insight. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the compliments on my current watch, which I find is a bit too plain.

Do you think a 36 even with the fluted bezel and diamond dial would look more sporty than dressy?

I love 31 but I have that size already, so looking for something slightly different. Not a fan of the oyster bracelet, so would definitely be jubilee. My wrist is 6" (Cartier love size 17). I think a 28 might be a bit small.

I tried them on a while ago, will try to dig up pictures and post. Thanks again!

Both great, but I kind of like the TT just a tad more. The black if you're wanting dressier, and the TT if you're looking for more of an all rounder.

Either way, I wouldn't get rid of the watch you're wearing now, though. It looks great.

My wife went through the same sort of dilemma, she ended up with a 36mm and loves it, I think it looks amazing on her too.

My wife does not. She went from 31 to 36 and has not regretted it. Also jubilee, she looked at both and it was classier.

Rolex is a “different” watch...... in a good way
Step outside the box and get the two tone.... I’m sure it’ll get you hooked on yellow!
Also sounds like that’s the one that speaks to you more! Go for it

Best of luck!!

I love the 31mm on you, your current watch is certainly not boring - I'd call it a timeless classic! I'd stick with 31mm and TT Rose Gold.

And here are a few examples, you said you were not going to get TT _and_ diamonds:

This one in particular is awesome
, purple with diamonds only at the bottom:

Your original watch is similar to my wife's first watch, but her's is a 31mm DJ with white MOP dial and a diamond bezel...

She wanted her second Rolex to be totally different. So she went with the EverRose TT, 36mm, with a Black mother of pearl(MOP) dial, and diamond numbers...

Two great choices and it is nice for her to go back and forth between the two very different looking DJ watches...

Both are stunning to look at...

Hope this helps... Good Luck!

I'm no help but your current watch is awesome! Been trying to get something similar for the wife but she keeps saying "no thanks, I just want an Apple Watch". Oh well....

You can bring a horse to water...

I'm in the same boat with my wife (She's actually far more rational than me)

If I were advising my wife, I’d tell her go with the black dial with diamonds.

The 31mm looks great on your wrist. I would suggest the TT 31mm Rose Gold white MOP dial with diamonds.

I like the Two Tone Everose DJ, either 31mm or 36mm.
Pink dial will be my first choice, silver, and then white. I don't think black dial goes well with Everose.
If you want dressier watch, I would also go with diamond markers.

DJ41 may be a bit too big, but if you are ok with it, I would suggest Two Tone Everose with Chocolate dial with Diamond markers. Fluted bezel. That's my favorite Datejust combination.

Yup. That was what my wife got. She actually hated it on the site (but when she saw in person...that was it). On my sister-in-law, it looked like she raided mommy’s closet (she is 5’1 and my wife is almost 5’7”)...but on my wife it just looks right.

Wedding band and engagement ring are similar to OP (platinum and diamond)

I personally am not in love with the black dial with diamonds. I think a lighter dial, with diamonds, or perhaps TT YG with roman numerals really eye catching.
However, it must sing to you, and with more women wearing white gold or platinum rings, maybe I'm wrong.

Your current watch looks great!!!
I think black with diamonds/ fluted bezel is classy.
I think you absolutely could do yellow two tone and adds variety. Get what appeals to you most though or it will end up in a drawer.
