Oh my! That’s scary. Glad no one got hurt. I believe navigator is a big car (my car knowledge is challenged so I googled) so it’d have handled well. My x3 is smaller but I prefer smaller car and even with snow turns it still skids sometimes. So the bottom line is NE snow is definitely not something to wish for.

Now things are worse ....

I had some relatives from out of town who spent time at my house yesterday as they were traveling from South Florida to North Florida ... I'm in the middle so they stopped for a visit .... I to the freezer to get some ice cream because I fancy a bit of ice cream and cake .. Well, no ice cream .. They ate it all and didn't even tell me .. Same with the cake .. I can't believe they could be so cruel .. Well guess what? .... This means WAR, and I'll be visiting them in the fall because of a wedding .. I promise you all right here and now, I am going to wait till they all go to bed, and then I'm going to eat all the ice cream in their freezer .. And I'll eat every bit of cake and pie and any other desert they may have in their house!!

it's huge and it was back in 2009. but mom's suv was a 2006 .. My mom just got a X5 and she still has her 7 series .. Both handle really well, and are even fun to drive.

Will I be a disgrace to my own kind if I say I found that post funny even though I’m a woman?

I almost fell off the trade mill when I saw your post and other people in the gym were giving me that crazy eye.

I’d rather have black ice than the 10 foot alligator I hit near Wewahitchka one night. It looked like a shadow in the road from a distance. I didn’t realize what it was until right before I hit it. Caused $5k in front end damage to my F150.

Feel you pain OP!

I have suffered with serve shoulder pain for nearly ten years, knocked my out of bodybuilding, the last 2-3 have been the worst with on average 4-5 hours sleep at best but wouldn’t be unusually to have a few nights in a row of under that!

They change my meds and now I’m sleeping most nights but I’m dependant on pain relief for the foreseeable future.

My saving grace is a good family around me and keeping myself occupied, excuse to my wife to be on here 24/7

Sorry to hear but you'll make that back in a heartbeat.

Don't overprice the watchbands and you'll sell them quick.

I never hit a alligator, but I came close when I first started driving in South Florida .. There is a place in South Florida called alligator alley

It's now fenced on both sides so no problem driving the alley.

20 years ago it was a bitch driving it and you really had to be on your toes.

Can’t say I have the extravagant wild life around here!

Did carp myself a good few year back when I was driving on a bridge over a local river and a Swan miscalculated it’s landing over shot the river and hit my front end head on.

Called the local RSPB and reported it as I didn’t want the Queen after me!

Forgot to mention that it was a one lane highway back then so the critters came from both sides.

I used to drive it once a week to the auction in Naples.

Swans don’t over shoot their landings. That critter was gunning for you!

I've had a lot of treatments to fight off a illness that has caused me a huge amount of pain .. I started a pain management program this past Tuesday because there is nothing more that can be done for me except pain management. The pain management doctor is a anesthesiologist who actually was the anesthesiologist who knocked me out when I had the 3 surgeries for the problem I have .. Anyway, I'm taking a pain medication that works well, but it doesn't make me sleepy plus he believes in lowering the pain so it is manageable instead of trying to be totally pain free .. So I take a pill every 12 hours, and I have a instant release of the same medication as a rescue pill when I need it .... I see the doc again this week, and he is going to add a medicine to help me go to sleep .. something safer to take with the pain meds

So my saving grace is my family (mom lives close to my house) and I have TRF. I've been a member here a long time, and there are some really awesome people who keep me company to help distract me when I'm in bad pain and waiting for the instant release med to kick in .... But I also go through some really debilitating depression, and the folks here chat with me and cheer me up when the depression hits me really hard .. I don't take meds for depression because the pain doc doesn't think it's a good idea, and only thinks I should take them if I ever get to where chatting about Rolex watches and Mon's wife shoveling snow in her bikini (you missed it, but it was totally funny joke I fell for)

Anyway .. I'm always here if the pain gets to bad and I hope you feel better

Ouch .... Oh that's right Her Majesty actually owns all the swans as well as all the dolphins in UK waters

See I actually paid attention when I was in England .. I even got to see the Palace .. I'm going to build a house like BuckinghamPalace when I get rich one day

I started driving in 1996 so it was different then .... I have some friends in Naples, and even Judge Judy has a house in Naples (or she did, don't know if she sold it)

South Florida is beautiful, and I really love Manalapan

A lot of people are scared of alligators, but I really like them .. They make awesome leather straps and compliment many Roles models, they also make great belts

Crocodiles do too. I have a pair of crocodile shoes and a matching belt .. I even have a crocodile watch strap I can put on one of my watches .... So i use it on the watch when I wear the shoes and belt (I know I'm worse than most ladies)
