Edit: Sorry...thought you were asking for an email confirming the discontinuation. N/M (Sometimes it would be nice to have a delete option when we catch ourselves making boneheaded posts!) |

These threads are getting a bit much now.
What's the next one going to be: "I've heard the Datejust is going to be discontinued!"

I heard that Watch was so unpopular that Rolex is having a buy back for those who were tricked into buying one.

They're NOT discontinuing the 114060 or the WG blue; especially the 114060. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see them come out with a WG variant on the oysterflex bracelet. I think a brand new sub with a new color combination on the oysterflex bracelet is the only speculation that I think is realistic. |

I do think it's only a rumour, since it had been only one customer saying it. In the meantime I've heard it from another guy but that was it.
The thing is, a few months ago I saw more in the shelves than now. An WG version would, surely, "kill" it wouldn't it!? For WG versions You'd have other models... Let's wait for Basel. |

You've seen the Date having editions in other colours, why didn't Rolex also do it in the no date one? I do prefer it when compared to the date LN, but the TT LB or the green versions are quite appealing. Imagine an 114060 LB or LV... It would drive quite a demand IMHO. |

They’re just opinions, but honest some of the comments on this thread are quite absurd.

My AD told me that the sub w/o date was being discontinued 8 years ago when I bought my 16610. It’s all marketing imho.

I heard they’re going to make a SS Coke No-Date Sub!
If they did this though every other sub would instantly lose all of their value. I’d get rid of yours now if you have one! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My customer is a regular guy.
The other just a guy that I know. Both happen to be from the UK and nothing besides that I haven't seen a 114060 in a while... As I've said, it appears to be just another rumour and was just asking if anyone had heard it also. |

Yes, issue 114060 will be terminated, because Rolex began to change the fonts on the last installments of 114060. Rolex always does this before the end of the release of the model.

When did that change occur? It seems to me the serif text has been around for a while, and isn't indicative of an imminent discontinuation.
