Warranty on NOS from AD?
I recently purchased a yachtmaster for my wife from an AD. Last week, I noticed the warranty card was not in the box so I called them today.
Well, I knew the watch had been discontinued and they did offer it at a discount (abet more than the preowned they had, and a LOT more than gray market). They told me today because it was sold as discontinued and sold with a discount, the watch was sold without a Rolex warranty (only their in store warranty, hince no card). My imagination is pretty creative on what really happened, but I want to believe it is something simpler (such as a 2015 model, so a 2 year in-house warranty is better than the 2 year Rolex). My next bet is that it was a like new rather than a nos-and the already registered warranty has already expired. Any other explinations? |
