Had the 15400 and agree, was too big. SD43 wears smaller than it, dial is much smaller. But as noted above, the lug to lug on his wrist with the hulk is close. Still think he can pull it off if worn "properly".

i dont think the fit would be a problem, it may have been that camera angle but theres some good room from the sub lugs. AP doesnt overpower my wrist either and the ap wears big

SD43 is a great option and not redundant given your collection but if you can actually choose a Sky D as an alternative, it's definitely more complementary and would be a better way to round out the lineup.

people here never say redundant but always say both.

On the other hand the SD43 is indeed not redundant in your collection

I actually did say "redundant," but I'm obviously in a very small minority. There wasn't much point in the OP asking anyway. Given the enabling culture of this forum, it's a foregone conclusion that if someone asks, "Should I get it?" and the "it" is a Rolex, the answer will be yes. Except in cases of the Air-King, and the leopard Daytona, of course.

Add it. It's a great watch and I think it would work well with what you've got.

Great collection! I own or have owned in the past every one of those. I’d go for the SD43 for sure. It may be a bit redundant but honestly who cares? If you like it that’s all that matters.

7” wrist and I love the SD43 - it’s my favourite Rolex. I don’t think that a black face SS diver would be redundant at all

Not redundant. Looks like all your watches are 40mm (not sure about the AP but it must be close). The SD would add variety from a diameter and a thickness perspective. The Daytona as mentioned before isn't a bad option for variety away from divers... but if you're a diver guy then the SD43 is terrific!

IMHO, yes. I’d even say having the two subs and the blnr is also redundant given how similar the cases are.
