The CHNR. Day two. Overcast tones
I always find that the morning after you get a watch, is the real day that you judge it. When you put it on in the morning. I wore it out to dinner last night, short sleeve dress shirt. Tommy bahama shirt. Truthfully, I think I’d rather have worn a sub, skydweller ss, stainless AP. Something stainless. I felt like a dude on a cruise. Too much going on between the fish on my shirt and the marquee sign on my wrist. Despite the fact the rose gold is more subtle, the CHNR is far from subtle. lol
Conversely. This watch works great with a t-shirt and shorts, and would be great with a suit. I think the key to this piece, is that when you’re wearing it, nothing else you’re wearing is going to win the attention fight, so let it win. I’ll say this in closing. I really dislike 2 tone yellow gold. I really like the subtle flash of this one. Somebody at Rolex deserves a pat on the back. |
