Definitely this was a nice surprise for me when I viewed it. I liked the chunkier case and the sports crown. Makes it feel more like a sports model compared to a DJII with a funny looking second hand hahaha

Big congrats! The Milgauss is one of my favorites, and the GV is currently my only Rolex (I love all Milgauss varieties though.) It flies somewhat under the radar, has a kind of vintage charm that's lacking in most other modern professional references, and you'll feel great knowing that in a sea of Subs your watch is about as unique and scarce in the wild as Rolex gets. (Not knocking the Sub. I also love them, but they are far more common.)

That's a great Millie. I just traded mine (the same) for the Zblue which kept haunting me, although I'm happy about it the black one is a stunner with the orange outer markers. I guess I wanted more color amongst all the black dials I have. Anyway Congrats! It is a beauty.

That’s my favorite Milgauss, I love the black dial without the green glass.

milgauss in my opinion will only increase in value. Remember...the original daytonas weren't popular....look at them now!

Thanks guys, I didn't really buy the watch as an investment but hey, maybe in 10 years time everyone will be going mad over the Milgauss and laughing about the BLNR's and DaytonaC's. One can only hope anyway ;)
Thanks for all the positive replies :) |

Hey how are you liking it? I'm looking to get a milgauss too - (present to self for MSc...), I was sold on the Black GV but when I saw it in the flesh the orange 3-6-9 looked weird and the green tint on the black didn't look right. The old black face with the clear crystal and all-white markers looks better to me but I've never seen one for real. It looks fantastic on photos - you happy with it?
Cheers, J. |

I seriously can't even remember the last time I wore my Milgauss. But after seeing your pictures, I just might have to pull it out of the safe and wear it for a bit.
