The 16610 Sub is in a crappy winder that sits atop a nicer double Wolf winder which contains the BLNR and a Grand Seiko Snowflake.

The other 22 watches are split between two watch boxes (vintage in one and modern in the other). I try to wear or wind every watch at least once a month so things stay nice and lubed. If i’m going to wear one of these for the day I’ll just wind and set it in the morning.

I’m guessing the “crown in vs out” question was more for quartz watches; and I only store crown out if it’s a watch that’s totally out of rotation and waiting to be sold (someday, when I get around to it...haha).

I store my watches in a winder. I don’t do anything to the crowns. I get a little paranoid though and sometimes store my rolexes in a safe if I am out of town.

I could wear the same one watch for months while the rest are all in bank safety boxes. To start another one just manually winding it after adjusting the time and date if it has that function.
same here

I store mine in a fire safe, I don’t wear them everyday, so they can be there months at a time. (Especially my Day Date).
I just leave them lying face up on a Rolex polishing cloth. I wind them about once a month or so, or whenever I open the safe. I always leave the crown secure, or in, otherwise you run the risk of moisture getting inside the watch.

Brookstone quad watchwinders x2, inside gun safe. 16610 has been in and out for twenty years, never any issues. Been serviced twice.

Save your $$$ and spread the love to all your watches. Wear something different everyday. After all, that’s why you have multiple watches, right? If not keep one and that’s all :)

Winders here. I rotate em almost daily. After reading this thread, I may go to wearing one multiple days in a row and then flip. I'm not a fan of keeping them in a safe (hope I don't regret that). I get a bit of a smile on my face with looking at them if I'm not wearing it.

My cheap 8+4 winder quit so now it's a watch box, crowns in face up.

Is there any reason to put a 3 hander on a winder? It was my impression that they where more useful when dealing with a perpetual calendar or something of that nature so you don't have to re set them? I store mine on my dresser face up btw...crown in

Winder or no? NO
If not,
Store with crown in or out? IN
9 or 3 o’clock side down?
Dial facing up? YES

How often to switch between watches? When I feel like it.

What’s the best way to get them started again? Wind them.

Scatola del Tempo winder and watchbox. I usually keep GMT movements and DD in winder.

Mine are kept in a Wolf watch winder on top of a night stand in full view. They are insured, so why not?

Absolutely love my Wolf winder.
