Tough call. If GS would remove the polish on their bracket links I think I’d prefer it

Same here. I have the 116610LV and prefer it over the GS, but it’s really, really close.

Resale value a side, the peacock is the only gs I would love to own. Hulk is my favorite watch and if I have to choose one, my choice will be the hulk but that doesn't mean the peacock is far behind. Get the peacock you will enjoy it Stephen

I finally had the chance to handle some Grand Seikos recently and they left me very cold. Even the snowflake which I like a lot in pictures just did nothing for me. Clearly well made watches but the design language isn’t for me.

Peacock sure is a handsome looking piece (that dial!). In terms of real world use though, my vote goes to the LVc. I would mess up the polished links and bezel on the Peacock in no time, whereas the Hulk would hold up a bit better. Plus, the LV's ever-changing dial color depending on light is a nice bonus.

Peacock. IRL, the dial is mesmerizing, it's a more wearable shade than the Hulk and it's put together rather nicely to boot.

Yes. GS Peacock for me all day, every day. You have to see it in the flesh to appreciate it fully.

Having said that, you're not comparing like with like and these are two very different watches and the only comparable point is the dial.

2 completely different watch types, tough call yes & I am a GS fan after having owned several over the years. Might be a close tie there.

Peacock. In fact, if I weren't allowed to flip it, I'd rather have ANYTHING in GS's line than a green Submariner.

Agree they are quite different.

The LVc is what I was wearing at the time I saw it. And because of the “similar” dial, I figured it would be an interesting comparison.

Peacock for me.

To understand why, look at both through a loupe and the reason is obvious.

Having both- I vote Peacock ! Now, that said, larger wrists can wear the bigger case of the Hulk but I have a smaller wrist and the GS is sharp, flies under the radar and has incredible quality and accuracy.

I would wear that GS

I love GS but the new peacock dial doesn’t do it for me. If it were the one they launched the NY boutique with I’d take it all day.

I’ve come to the conclusion I don’t like the modern sub case so I guess neither.

Not that GS for me, I'd pick the Hulk.

hulk of those two. The GS spring drive diver i would take over a hulk in a diver vs diver.
