An old thread but still interesting.

I wonder how many of those V serials there are? When I checked at some ADs when availability of new SDs was winding down, the ones in the cases were all M or Z.

In our Reference Library we have a SD V serial project where members can list their V serials and locations..l

However, no Rolex has ever been "more valuable" because of a serial number.. I believe that anybody who thinks that their V is valuable because it is the last letter in a numbering sequence may be disappointed..

(By the way, this thread is over 4 years old and a lot of V serial SD's are now known to be around..)

Have to agree Larry there is around a hundred V serial SDs reported on this forum alone. And we are a very small proportion of Rolex buyers so there must be hundreds of V serial SD in the world. And apart from different case stamps over the years mostly identical in every way.Time to put this very old thread back to sleep where it belongs.
