Congratulations. Great reference. I too would like to consolidate down but have no clue as I have been the Platinum Rolex DD route and the brown on the Daytona is not as appealing. I might revisit it though.

Well I've got a couple of antique family heirlooms (Bulova and Tiffany both in gold), my 116600 SD4K, and my 16570 which Long's is having serviced by Rolex as a gift in the deal. I doubt I'll see it for a month or two.

Totally get the ease of just rotating it out via one point - did you end up being satisfied with the price for your old collection?

Looks great on your wrist, enjoy!
I missed this earlier. Yes quite happy. They let me pull out the two watches on which I felt they were low in their offer and even are paying to have one of them serviced. They threw in the DJ for Mary. Over all the new Daytona 50th ended up costing about $60ish. Ease of a single point trade really added a lot in term of reduced effort, expense, and time!!!!

That's one heck of a watch, Lee...we (I) toss around the word 'grail' around here all the time...but that, my friend, is a real grail.

Congrats again.

Congrats again! That was great to be able to do the trade all at one shop. The work involved in trying to sell that many different pieces individually would have been more expensive from the opportunity cost of your time. Enjoy the new watch!

Awesome watch Lee, and it looks great on you!

When you say, "Final", you really mean for this year right...

I had 26 watches on my spreadsheet. I can't imagine heading back in that direction!!!

Absolutely; just thinking about all the work involved in trying to maximize returns on all those watches on line was exhausting.

So much more elegant for certain; I still have two Rolex watches in reserve as well.

Had the privilege of handling one of those once. It wasn't until that time, that I realized what a magnificent piece it truly is. Stunning in every regard. I can see how you'd whittle down a collection to retain one or two keepers as long as that stunner's in the line up!

Wear her in the best of health!!

Truly superb!

The single greatest watch I’ve ever tried on. It has so much wrist presence with that heft.

Many congratulations!!

Man, can’t help but revisit my decision to move this one along a while back.

Future thread: 2028 - traded 17 watches in for Patek 5740.

Congrats on the slim down!
