Rolesor is a made up name by Rolex that doesn't mean anything. There is no such material. They refer to all of their TT watches as Rolesor. The SS SkyD is Oystersteel and WG.

It’s not too bad as a size. Like said before, the larger the watch the more important it is for it to be sized properly as it will flop. More important is if you like a very large fluted bezel. It’s not for shrinking violets and Gets plenty of attention. Personally I like it a lot.

Is it on the larger side? Yes

Is it a little flasher than I’d typically wear or be drawn to? Yes

But I absolutely love the complication and it’ll be most useful as a daily.

I tried on one with a strap, very comfortable, that could maybe be an alternative for you. Beautiful watch.

That’s how you want to wear it, perfect fit on Johny. I have to flip it due to size but I love the SkyD more than my Daytona for the complications. It is a lot more useful for everyday.

Ive seen this watch look ridiculous on some shots here. This is a piece that REQUIRES a larger wrist. I saw a smaller guy (5’6”, 130ish) wearing one at an AD and I thought it looked awful. It looked like a plate on his wrist.

I own a sub and think anything above it will look a bit too big. And here the SkyD almost dwarfs the sub! Thanks for the comparison pic! I love the SkyD but felt it’s way too big for anything smaller than 7” wrist definitely. Mine is around 6.75”. It would have been the perfect watch had it been similar in size to the DJ41! DJ41 is sleek so can work even though it’s 41mm. Also somehow I think just because it’s a bit too big and chunky, it loses its charm somehow. A Rolex has to be just perfect! The YM2 or the Deepsea blue, unlike SkyD, are sports watches so can carry it off.

To my eyes they look big, but it is a personal preference.

I’m waiting for my SA to get me a white or blue oyster steel Skydweller. I like the looks and size of it. My DeepSea Seadweller is a beast and heavy. Def know it’s on my wrist when I wear it.

7.5-7.75” wrist and I can’t have it any other way. Cant speak for how it wears on smaller wrists but I can speak on how much attention this watch gets. I don’t pay attention but my fiancé tells me all the time how people stare at it. Sometimes a bit scary I suppose.

I’ve had a datejust 36mm, a 40mm bluesy, a 41mm datejust, a two tone seadweller and now my skydweller which was always my grail. After the seaD and the skyD I can’t even go back to a sub. I tried the new bluesy and it looked tiny on my wrist. Shame because the bluesy dial is amazing to look at. Maybe someday they’ll make a TT seadweller with a blue dial.
