I saw a similar meteorite dial on a DD and it was gorgeous. Pictures don't do it justice. It looks three dimensional. It is a seriously awesome dial. Who cares about reading the time, I'm just mesmerized by the dial.

Someone put their thinking cap on this morning. Be careful or you will inadvertently give it a nickname....

Love it!!!!

Been wanting a light GMT dial for a long time. Very Pan-Am-ish

I haven’t researched it but I don’t know if it’s WHITE GOLD or SS

And that’s a poor place for ROLEX to put us in

With the SKY D sellout to SS and the GMT jubilee blro, I feel that we have been led to walk the plank

I'm in a very foul mood after this release... Very irritated!

** It's looking like you will have to sell me your Patek 5990 at retail to cheer me up and get me back to my old self!

Exactly. But that dial quite literally was in space..... or the sliver of rock did...

Part of me really likes it and part of me thinks noooo. I need to see it in person to make my mind up. Shouldn't be hard to do as I doubt they will be flying out of AD cases when they arrive.

I'd have to see it in person to make the true judgement but online it seems it would be difficult to tell the time.

Don’t get me wrong I’m sure the photo doesn’t do it justice but I keep thinking of the Tissot Rockwatch when I see it

Thread needs a full pic:

I think it looks great. Plus the dial is made out of a rock from outer space. If I am going to put down that kind of money then something in it should be from outer space.

But it’s WG so looks just like SS. The red/blue is made by a bunch of brands now, and the meteorite you would only tell from a distance if you’re in the know or you would need to see up close and even then a lay man would have to ask what it is if they even cared....

I think it’s more unique than many others in the line up. More understated than any YG or TT if that’s what you like. And outright cool. Not that the others aren’t.

I should add I’m overall partial to some meteorite. I’ll take some space rock over enamel or laquer for a bit of fun and a sprinkle of nobody really knowing what it actually is and flying under the radar pretty strong.

Each to their own. Cheers

Add that to my ever-expanding list of modern inventions/enhancements I just don't get.
