Holy Sh-t - thats a gorgeous, maginificent watch. Good luck with it and wear it in good health. You're very lucky to have gotten such a great time piece. I always loved that dial, esp combined with the 18k case and pres bracelet.

You ask "Am I eccentric?" In a word . . . yes.

Unfortunetly, I have no desire to purchase any other rolex style or design. This is an 18078 that is all original and a one owner. The price tag may be a little steep, but I have yet to find one as nice for the price I paid. When this watch became available to me, I did not hesitate to fork over the cash. Now keep in mind, I make $11.00 an hour at my day job. I refuse to pay over $1 for a loaf of bread. I felt bad about paying $6 for some clearance blue jeans, and I only order off the $1 menu at fast food places. I am furious with the prices of goods and services these days, but can fully justify this purchase and feel absolutley no remorse. I don't know how the rest of you feel, but when I put on the only Rolex watch of my dreams, It is like all is well and there are no worries to be had in this crazy world we live in. I have had many good quality watches over the years but nothing demands the respect of a rolex on your wrist. People do notice. So, I ask, Am I completley out of my mind, or is this normal logic for a rolex collector. Well I had better wrap this up, I need to drive across town to save $.50 a pound on some hamburger.
YES, welcome to the club
