Plain old soap and water and a brush + regular wearing is all I'd do with that beauty. Dad really looked after it!

I received my dad’s TT a couple months back. I decided to not get the service as it’s keeping fantastic time and passed pressure test. This watch also sat in a safe for 20 years...I’d personally wait, but definitely worth getting checked out

I had my dad's TT DJ from the 60's which was last serviced in 1990 serviced, bracelet polished and replaced the crystal (aftermarket) at a reputable watch repair service in Los Angeles. Very happy with the results. Cost me $500.

I wouldn't polish it. Fix the bracelet though. RolliWorks is great. Try them

Here is a picture of the bracelet. Now looking at its not horrible. But I feel I wanna clean it up. On a scale of 1 - 10. how do you guys rate the stretch?

Wow. That’s not in need of work at all. Bracelet looks ready to wear for a long time to come.

LAWW or Rolliworks for bracelet repair, movement service and case refinish. It will come back looking and working like new.

That stretch isn’t bad at all. Unless the clasp is loose no repair is needed. Here is what I would do send it to RolliWorks and have it serviced and just have the bracelet polished not the case. It will look brand new and still have original case lines. Beautiful piece. Love these 5 digit DD’s they have lots of character.

Looks like a 90% bracelet to me, which is awesome. I’d at least service to ensure waterproof-ness

That bracelet looks great. Just a nice clean and proper polish in my opinion. I'd make sure the clasp is working securely.

The bracelet is great, no need for any work on it. Just get the watch cleaned and I think you will be very happy.

its your watch do you intent selling ? as a polish will remove the rose patina on the gold, otherwise there nothing wrong with a light polish done correctly

I would look to Rolex for a service (service strongly recommended after that period of time), if they want to replace the bracelet it will be for good reason. There are many bracelet repair options available to you through members of this forum if you'd prefer that route. Best of luck with this and what a wonderful piece.

Send it to Rolex for a movement service.

Do not polish anything. Do not replace anything.

Send it to a 3rd party so they fix the bracelet. Again no polish.

Try washing it to start with. The PCLs seem to have a lot of junk on them. I think it will make a big difference. (I see; already done.) Stretch is negligible. How about a cleaned up shot on the wrist, now.
