My grandfather was a Marine on Iwo and, like many others, severely wounded. My dad and I traveled to Iwo in February 2007, so it is in memory of my grandfather and memories of a great trip Dad and I had.

My old avatar: My HeliOx 18B and a 16610LV
I've spent almost 10,000 hours underwater in this hat
If you look close you can see whats left of my name engraved by the nose block

My new avatar: A clip of this photo
Rotary International Past President Bill Boyd of Pakuranga, New Zealand
(Background) President Wilfrid Wilkinson, Trenton Ontario is introducing Incoming President D. K. Lee, Seoul Korea

Four of some of my most favorite things, Rotary, Motorcycles*, Diving and Rolex...

*The pin on my collar is the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians

At first I didn't know if I wanted to post my photo, but JJ had done so and it seemed more and more TRFers were doing it...
Felly hunted me down at my store and I ran into Brandon [Yuppie Kid] at an AD
and I thought it would just be easier for when I meet more of you.

Thanks to all and TRF

Boa, how many OEM's have you had? We currently have two, I had one before my wife and I were married, the two we have now make them my sixth and seventh mastiffs. Wonderful, wonderful dogs!

Can you believe that someone took a picture of this instead of stopping it?
I have a warped enough sense of humor that I think it's hilarious.

Seriously, when he left home and his mom was doing some redecorating and stripping wallpaper, she found that nearly every electrical outlet had scorch marks up the wall from his experiments!

I was a fan of the under-funded, scrappy Super Aguri F1 team (which was at one point scoring more points than the Honda F1 racing team, for which it served as the "B" team).

My avatar is of my '79 10th Anniversary Pontiac Trans Am. It is the last year GM made a "big block" performance V8. Mine is one of 1700 made with a factory 4 spd.

Wanted one bad in high school but couldn't afford it. Found this one from a collector a few years back in Michigan. 40k original miles and MINT. My wife was perfectly happy when I said I was buying it instead of another Harley so it was an easy sell!

What's the story behind your's?

Cool David, a friend of mine [back in '78 in highschool] had a very similar one, only black.

You old seadog!!!!!!!!!!!

My current one is in celebration of the fact that I received replies to probably the dumbest thread I could think of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=66799

I like changing my avatar and signature often!

Others have been...

Harmonicas and Rolex....errmmm cos I like them.

The Grinch...in response to Toph's opinion of me...it scared Heru though so it was binned!

The Green Lantern...by Alex Ross (One of my fave comic artists). It's a green LV thing.

Captain America...by Alex Ross...for July 4th and Sept 11th.

Darth Willy...My little boy and a lightsabre.

My watches...the original and most boring.

Mine is a piece of graffiti art of my boyhood hero, George Best.
The artwork is next to a famous Banksy art piece which I think is great but would offend too many on this forum if I posted it
