The Hulk. A lot of fun to wear and the dial is amazing.

What about if someone is overly anxious, or just undecided.

Could it not just be that simple?

In the Caribbean, don't take anything that will make someone think about ending your life to advance theirs.......I lived in the Bahamas in the 90s. Your life is not very important to them....your watch is.

I have the same choice facing me, I'm going to Italy in 3 weeks and I have to choose between the SD43 or the Explorer.

I believe I'm leaning towards the Explorer as it is more under the radar.

Caribbean, and them?

That’s a blanket statement if ever I’ve heard one.

These “which of my $10,000 watches should I take on my $10,000 vacation to the 3rd world” might be part of what motivates the terrorists.

Honestly. Get over yourself.

Not true, do not fear monger someone. Cruise safes usually only can be opened by a supervisor or the hotel manager. If you have a problem with the safe they will not touch it without you in the cabin and make you sign a work order they were there for the safe. There are cameras in every hallway on a cruise, if there was a theft they could go back and identify who it was as soon as it was reported. If there is even an accusation of theft against a crew member they are dumped off at the next port. It’s not worth the risk for them, who are mostly from other counties making very good money compared to their home country, to risk that sort for short sidedness.

Then that person would know the difference, besides no one follows my advice anyway.

I just share advice based on my experience and observation in order to maintain my personal integrity.

To advise otherwise would be in direct contradiction to my personal values.

Comprende?

SD4K is the least flashy piece, draw least attention. Good for swimming in the Caribbeans.
Old Batman is shinny, the polished links catch eyeballs.
Hulk is for the sea. For sure it looks great while sunbathing on cruise.

Difficult choice though. Any thoughts? Thanks.

GMT would be the easy choice for me. Love having the dual time function.

I never wear a Rolex to the caribbean. It’s a holiday, just wear a G-shock or so, it’s not worth getting mugged on your holiday.

Breitling Emergency. It has a built in PLB (Personal Locator Beacon) built into the watch, just in case you take a dive off the fantail of the ship, and then change your mind.

Anyone who is recommending traveling to La Perla is crazy. Don't listen to them.

Better to be safe than sorry.
