I suspect you'd come out meaningfully ahead by just selling the BLNR and then buying a CHNR.

Even this is a good trade as CHNR grey price is higher than BLNR in my country, I would prefer to keep BLNR as you cannot find a new one with Oyster anymore.

If I still had the BLNR, yes I’d do that trade.

I would definitely do that trade. The CHNR is a bit more special and you will definitely see a lot less in the wild.

CHNR market is being flooded, BLNR not as much.

Really mixed feeling about it, as BLNR is my very first Rolex I’ve owned, I paid 12k usd for sep 2018 dated and really afraid if I make that trade I wouldn’t find it out in gray market in the future

On Chrono24, CHNR asking prices seem to be about USD 2k higher than for the BLNR. In that sense it looks like a decent trade, depending on the source of the CHNR. On the other hand, AD availability for the CHNR seems much better, judging by some of the incoming threads on TRF, which would flip the &&& equation.

I would only do it if I liked the CHNR substantially better - which I don't. I loved it in pictures, but the brown looked much duller in person. YMMV.

I'd sell the BLNR and buy the CHNR. If I had a BLNR, which is unlikely since I don't like it. I love the CHNR. In the end, it's a question of which one you love the most. I can't answer that.

I reckon I would do the trade now and then regret it 10 years down the track.
