My locker was broken into in the beginning so I just wear it now. As long as you are aware nothing will happen to it.

I have a G-Shock on modified end-links and Nato (better for wrist expansion).

Yes I wear my Rolex in the gym.

Usually I go in before work and I don’t fancy leaving it in a locker so better to wear it. I also use it to time my breaks (keeps things more efficient).

As an FYI most of my workouts involve barbells and dumbbells.

The gym I go to has people wearing solid gold Daytona’s and the like!

Initially I used to not wear my Daytona TT with diamonds to the gym at all. Leave it home before going to the gym... then started hiding in the car since most of the time I was going to gym from work... then leaving it in the lockers with a lock seemed a good idea...

Eventually after good few pounds off my scale I realised I wear the watch because I absolutely love it and whats the point worrying so much about it...

I now wear it on machines, trade mills, with dumbells, barbells... you name it....

Just enjoy what you really like wearing...

I train at home and run outside. But if I were to go to a gym I would not bring my Rolex.

Gyms I have been to have lots of traffic in locker rooms, just need good situational awareness.

I take the watch off out of view BEFORE getting out of vehicle and going into gym and lock it up in a locker close to entry. Or I’ll keep it in pocket if I don’t feel comfy with the locker room.

Just got home from the gym, always wear a watch
Ocasionally I loosen the bracelet as it sometimes feels a little tight if wrists are at an angle, other than that train and shower in it.

Heck no. It would be uncomfortable, in the way as I do a lot of body weight strength training, and there are clocks to tell the time. Furthermore, while I'm well to do I'm not filthy stinking rich and these things are expensive. Why bang one up unnecessarily?

I wouldn’t wear a Rolex in the gym because it would get in the way of my wrist straps which are built onto my gloves. Would be uncomfortable as well either way.
Definitely wouldn’t do cardio either, unnecessary shock on the movement

I've lifted in it a few times, barbell and dumbell movements. I used to Crossfit and never wore a watch because I always had wrist wraps on. After I crushed three disks in my back, I'm more in tune with staying in control of things. The movements I do don't really put it in any danger of getting banged around (presses, rows, pulls, etc.).

I also row, run, swim, and (spin)bike with it on. Not that those are dangerous, but some people think it'll jar the watch too much. My GMT IIc and all of my Seikos have held up fine.

Yes, of course. What’s the risk? I’m as much in control of my arms in the gym as anywhere else in life. Added bonus, it gets a daily rinse in the shower afterwards. I’d certainly never leave in the car or locker.

I won’t even wear my Apple Watch without protection around weights. There are too many things to bump into. If you have to wear a 10k + watch at the gym I recommend the armor all wrist band. I have them and they work great.

Deadlifts, squats, gymnastics, you name it, as a former competitive athlete, my daily workouts are intense and very dynamic and I do them all with my Rolexes and other Swiss watches, except when I go to the stadium to do sprint routines and HIIT in general because I like to keep my heart rate in check. The Sub in particular is a sports watch before anything else and it's great for all kinds of activities, not just diving. Put it on a Rubber B and it will be your best accessory in the gym ;)

I wear my sub every day when weight training. Much safer imo than leaving in the locker (my gym has had a couple break ins to peoples lockers).

I mainly do free weights and super sets, no cardio. I haven't come close to damaging it due to any weight lifting movements and I do a lot of different types lifts. I have had to resize the watch if I get a good forearm pump going, but that's easy thanks to the glidelock. If I were doing more crossfit style work outs I don't think I would wear it since those type of workouts are a lot quicker paced and I feel like you would be more prone to bang it around.

The sub is my daily wearer,so it sees all sorts of use. However I'm thinking of getting a 114270 to rotate on days I go to the gym. I would wear this reference on a Nato and I think the weight of the Exp1 on nato would be preferred over my SubC on a bracelet. Slimmer and not as noticeable on the wrist.

I see people at Lifetime wearing rolexes all the time, I have no idea why. I just lock mine in my car dashboard drawer.

I never take it off to put it in gym locker or leave in car. It is MUCH safer on your wrist.

I wear my watch to the gym quite often, but with the recent prices of the Batman I have been leaving it in the car. It does bother my hand while doing pushups. When I got my Sky Dweller I decided not to wear it to the gym. I think having an accurate heart rate monitor would be a great gadget.

I´ve worn my 16610 3-4 times a week to the gym lifting followed by sauna and a shower for more than 15 years. Its has taken a lot of beating, but still looks very good and runs like a champ.
If I wear one of my other watches on gym days, say daytona, i´ll just wear it in the gym too.
