16610 and 14060 4 liner . The no date is just a classic and versatile too as its the only Rolex that looks perfect on a nato strap imo

Same as above but 2-liner 14060. I was surprised also but I came to realize they are quite different watches. However if you just have one of them and thinking about getting the second, I would opt for a GMT instead.

Does anyone have both the no date and date submariner?

Yup and I love both. I'm a big 5 digit guy so I also plan on adding a 16600 for some serious redundancy.

I think they're different enough to appreciate each in their own way and I guess it also helps that one of mine is matte and the other is glossy.

Many here have both.

I have the 114060 (lucky TRF) and a SD43 which is somewhat similar to the Submariner date.

They are different enough in my book.

Redundant imho.

Just keep the date and sell the ND

I have in the past. Eventually the no date was sold and now I just have a few subs. But the no date is a great watch.

I do not have both. If I did, I would not have two black references.

I would have a Black 114060 and then add a LVC, Two Tone, or Gold reference.
