Hardly brand bashing. Geez. They have a problem with this watch, we are discussing it. Chill. |

My AD says I’m next in line for a GMT but I have to admit I’m a bit nervous to pull the trigger with all of these reported issues.

I do find the Tudor GMT an untrustworthy little blighter.
Just when I say I’m not gonna wear it for a week and put on something else, blamo, there it is again, back on my wrist Pesky little thing

It's a cool watch and I'm currently fighting the urge to buy one. I'll give it a while until I know everything is settled with the movement and THEN buy. Tempting to now but I know I won't want to take it off long enough to send out for service if I have issues.

Tudor - sub brand of Rolex, curious as to why Tudor is a 2 year warranty whilst Rolex is 5, would have expected both brands to be the same.
I understand that Tudor is to stand on its own two feet but I would have expected a better warranty than 2 years. As repairs to the problem are taking a while in some cases are warranties being extended, what info have those GMT owners received from Tudor when they received their watches back from the RSC regarding the length of the warranty? This issue has cast a shadow on the watch which is a shame as Tudor have done so well with the Black Bay range of watches. |

They’ve sold how many of these? What % are affected? 1% - 3% ??? They come with a warranty for a reason. |

The other issue is has the problem been rectified in the watches that dealers are receiving, if your watch arrived tomorrow you would like to believe that the problem has been fixed, has it? So yes, in the grand scheme of things the percentage of people affected is small but it doesn't seem to have been handled well by Tudor and the problem is taking way too long to fix in many owners opinion and that is not good. |

I heard that they are replacing the entire movement. If so, the warranty should be extended a full 2 years. Heck, it should be anyway.

The biggest worry is that its been released a long long time now. For Tudor to continuously sell a known faulty product that is a real concern.
There should not be ANY new examples of this problem emerging at all. To have a new one dated this month and to inherit this problem is not a good sign. |

The amount that develop the issue is too many for me. There is definitely a space in my box for one but I don't want to hear about the problem anymore. Much like the early 3186 issues have gone off the radar.
Tudor is an enthusiast brand and a lot of enthusiasts are on here so I think we can get an accurate estimate of how widespread this problem might be. The couple of main threads on the issue read like some kind of pandemic from a bad horror film. And we don't even know what causes it or if a cure exists..
