I think that it is just made in much lower numbers as it is a complication watch. Demand is high, not as high as the SS Daytona, but nevertheless from what I can gather a lot more Daytonas are manufactured.

It is a great watch and a complicated watch, what you can achieve by moving the gold fluted bezel is quite a remarkable achievement.

Do we read into it that the blue Skydweller is simply made in much lower numbers, or not very popular or even maybe not very good?

What you think?

Daytona, Hulk, Batman, Pepsi, SkyDweller

When I was originally hunting a Daytona I floated that I might be interested in a a Hulk too.
After a good wait the AD was able to get me a white Daytona, and 9 mouths after that he called to let me know a Hulk came in. I turned it down, but since it had been some time, I asked how frequently they were receiving Hulks? He replied at that time (Nov 2018) they were getting more Daytona’s than Hulks. 3-4 Daytona for every 1 Hulk per year on average.
He also mentioned the Hulk was as rare as the SD43 at the time. He only got 2 of those last year. I wish I asked about the Pepsi/Sky-D.
