I bet the watch is immaculate too. Preserved in a warm cushioned Location and probably never moved.

The watch is in pristine condition, however the watch has an aroma that is much less pleasing. Lol!

OK, so I go in and tell my wife “Grady says I need to check your sofa cushions.” Now she’s mad at both of us.

This Woman Found a Rare $250,000 Rolex Beneath the Cushions of Her Couch

She plans to "buy house and get a boob job" with her new found fortune.

Excellent Choices for how to spend the money after selling the watch!

This could have been placed in a "Safe place to store your Rolex" thread ha. Ultimate.

With the Settee coming from a Thrift store, it may have been a house clearance from an older person who has passed on. They have them in the UK were they will clear all the old furniture out of the house for free. Then sell in on.

When my Grandparents passed and we were moving stuff around the house. We found loads of cotton hanky bundles. All filled with coins, "posted" behind a huge old wardrobe. Majority being pound coins. A few thousand pounds worth all in bundles of say 20-30 pounds.

We think it was my Grandmothers emergency stash, i.e. it was like a 4 man job to move the wardrobe to get behind it. So no chance of an impulse raid on the piggy bank.

So maybe the previous owner of the watch, put it into the settee as a safe place to store it.

Not buying this story for a second. Maybe in a citcom it would be believable.

Women drops her cell phone which falls in between the seat cushions, sticks her hand down there and out comes a Paul Newman Daytona. Lol Copperfield would be proud.

So she bought a used sofa from a second hand store. Manage to transport it with cushions still in place, store themselves didn’t even remove the cushions and they themselves haven’t removed the cushions in what seems like 10+ years to clean it.

I’m glad I never sat on that thing even if there was a 250k Paul Newman entombed in that filth.
