  2. John Mayer
  3. Lebron James
  4. Mark Wahlberg

Imagine having to go up against these guys.... lol. The watch will be sold out FAST.

A+ math! Unbelievable watch, combining ceramic, openworked, perpetual calendar, and rose gold accents...all the things AP does do well.

Good call Ben. We all knew it was coming eventually but that was early for sure.

I just love this watch. I cannot imagine what I would change. Pity they will make so few.

With a full picture of the releases announced by AP this year I find it laughable people do not think they deserve their spot. Nobody is making better sports watches when you consider the entire line from top to bottom.

I first proposed it to FHB and the then CEO of Greater China in 2016. As I recall I was wearing my full platinum 39mm RO skeleton perpetual at the time.

AP's website says it is "Boutique Exclusive", but not Limited Edition. I doubt they would make 50 pieces only. These will fly out of the shelves and AP probably needs to make some home runs after Code's failure. This new openworked PC will be more like the salmon white gold 15202, the double balance wheel openworked and the non-openworked ceramic PC: it will be very hard to get, sell above retail in grey dealers, but not limited production.

I absolutely loved this watch. It is certainly one of the most beautiful watches I have seen. Not so sure it's worth almost 50K more than its non-openworked ceramic sibling in MSRP, though.

This is a stunner. The smoked sapphire area of the moon phase is just ridiculously awesome.

Would make sense to me but that info was from the horses mouth. Maybe Roger can confirm or deny. I think this watch just walked right past the 5740 as most desirable sports model available.

edit: hmm HODINKEE says not limited so maybe I was told some bs lol

We'll see what the secondary market says but I 100% agree with you. AP does SO MUCH MORE than PP when it comes to complicated HH sport watches. Problem is, most of us mere mortals are left with the basic pieces from both brands and PP is a stronger brand overall reflected by the secondary market pricing.

Yeah I guess if that is the gauge, which is might as well be then the rainbow Daytona pave is the winner.

Actually not a limited piece so definitely a better shot at grabbing one. I actually passed on the PC ceramic but will not pass up on this one!

I have the SS Blue dial PC. I would not trade it for any other watch, until I saw this skeleton version. Absolutely stunning. AP is making some incredible RO PC versions.

But didn't I read that it's not limited, just simply limited by production? (Which is no different from most RM's, most Pateks, most Rolex steel sport watches anyway.)

CORRECTED: I see you updated above, as well. Ignore this post. :)

Yeah that's what HODINKEE is reporting. I may have been mislead. Just what I had heard. AP seems to always veil production plans.

Gorgeous.

Seems no moving parts are visible on the dial? Would’ve been cool to have some action as AP PCs are quite static.
