Rolex GMT 2 LN, Tudor black bay GMT and Omega sea-master diver 300m.
Have to say the Tudor is getting the most wrist time . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Which of you Rolex collectors have Tudor in the mix!?
My first "nice" watch purchase was my 79730 Black Bay, followed by my 116900 Air-King, and most recently the 126710 BLNR.
I love my Tudor and rotate wearing it among my other watches, especially if I'm doing any water activities. Recently took it with me to Australia and wore it scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. Such a cool reference and with lot's of strap options, it's easy to switch it up !

I’m most likely going to pick up another 79230n this year at some point as a travel/casual watch to compliment my Datejust. Or just for days when I want a nice substantial Diver on my wrist that is a step up from my Seiko.
I owned this reference and stupidly sold it for another 114060. Is the Rolex a nicer watch? Maybe. Is it 4K better? Not sure there. Tell me the construction of the Black Bay isn’t virtually identical to the 5 digit subs... The Tudor flies under the radar. And is half the price. I would have been better off putting the 5k I spent into a index fund... I really have a hard time wrapping my head around a watch that used to be fairly affordable when you have Tudor filling the same price point that Rolex tool watches once sat on. As William1 said. “It’s not the poor mans Rolex. It’s the smart mans Rolex.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

See sig line. I evaluate Tudor on its merits not as related to Rolex.

I have 3 Rolex and 1 Tudor BB Red on leather.
The Tudor actually gets quite a bit of wrist time. |

As much as I want to add Tudor, I just can’t get past the sharper case edges and rivet bracelets. If I was going to get one it would be the Pelagos though

Im the proud parent of 4 Rolex children and have been seriously considering picking up a Tudor as of late. I think there is something about the throw back look and feel that Tudor has really nailed.
I was actually at my AD the other day and tried on a Chrono S&G. The thing is a stunner. I knew I liked it but didn't realize how much I would appreciate all of the detail that went into it. It definitely scratches an itch that modern Rolex are not. |

I have 4 rolex, a speedy and a Tudor ranger. Like the ranger as it has vintage vibes, great size and legibility. Good beater.
*Side note as a nato guy the Tudor natos are superb. There are some good yt vids on how and where they are made. |

I have tried a few Tudor GMT and Pelagos but the brand does not speak to me in a way to spend thousands on a watch despite the build quality and heritage.

after all that chat, I need to plan a trip to my Tudor AD and see what he has in stock, too bad it's a one and a half hour drive from where I live :(
The Pelagos and the Heritage chrono blue are the two models that speak the most to me but I feel the black bay burgundy is going to become the iconic reference of the brand 20 years from now. |

Along with several Rolex models I have this old gal. Canadian members might recognize the caseback inscription.

I do not as I am working on my 2nd Rolex. Maybe in the future but they do not talk to me like the Rolex.
