There's one available now to me at 34,500 EGP, but I'm just not quite ready. I feel like the prices are gonna go up if I wait 2 more months like I intended to. What makes you think the prices will go down?

What economy are you living in? Home prices nationwide have plummeted, new & used autos can be bought at record low prices, salaries are being slashed across the board (for those 'lucky' individuals that have actually kept their job), bonuses are a thing of the past and god knows pretty much everything for sale is dropping in price just to try and move inventory. About the only thing going up these days is the unemployment #'s and the length of this recession. Again !

If this is true, it will help stabilize the dropping prices of the used market on the DSSD no doubt. I can't believe they will increase by 20% seeing as that would put the list price of the DS in the U.S. at $11,100, but if that happened come April, it will definitely help curb the drop in used values of the DS. With a little shopping in todays market you can find numerous examples of the watch for sale in the low $8K and mid/high $7K. No way they will stay at those prices if they break the $11K mark new. If it happens, I think the used market for the DS will hover around the mid $8K to low $9K...meaning if you could pick one up now new at a good price (under list) it would be a good move. Then again, I'm still having a hard time believing that watch will break the $11K mark any time soon (then again, stranger things have happened).

Sorry...I just couldn't help but comment. What in the heck are you talking about??? This has got to take the cake for worst grammatical post on this whole forum. Anyone tell you you're not suppose to drink & type?

I'm still trying to figure out what these 'sentences' are suppose to mean.

Well I heard Rolex is reducing its complete range by 25%, now that is a rumour, and you should never listen to rumours, only facts.

With the dreadful state of the current economy, a price drop of around 20% would be more appropriate!!

But I guess there are a lot of people out there with a sack load of moollah!!

Good one. Of course it would probably be impossible for Rolex to do a price reduction by 25%. The value of ADs' inventories would depreciate by a lot quickly. I doubt Rolex would credit ADs for 25% of the cost of their inventory on hand. Imagine how much money is out there in AD Rolex inventories? Shall we venture a billion dollars US?

I think your right JJ as when I was looking around London and asked for a discount due to recession, I was told by AD'S it was not effecting them so seems there is more money out than the news/press wouls have us belive
