Agree on getting bracelet, but if you want to have both leather and bracelet the cost is very similar to add either. I started with the leather strap and purchased the bracelet separately. The Tudor deployant is fantastic and I would recommend having both the leather strap and bracelet. The strap is my choice for this time of year.

I own a SubC Date and the Tudor GMT on bracelet. Honestly, i think its a great watch.

Only thing you'll notice when wearing the GMT is how much thicker it is than the sub (which never bothered me before i got my submariner). I think its a solid piece for the price.

Does anyone know if the BB GMT is thicker than the Skydweller? That’s definitely thicker than my SubC.

Trying to get a reference point to something I have. Thanks!

I think the GMT is around 14.7mm, Sub around 12.7mm, Sky around 14.1mm

End of the day not a huge difference between the three at least in my opinion. 2mm wouldn't prevent me from buying any of them.

Thanks! I agree that may be the case between the BB GMT and the SkyD but not with the SubC. I really notice the difference when I switch between the SubC and the SkyD.

I generally don’t like to make a purchase without seeing it in the metal first. I’ve only bought one watch sight unseen and that was the 45 silver snoopy. The only other watch would be the DaytonaC. Luckily I’ve seen regular BBs but not the GMT so I’m ok with the case size. I’ll probably contact the AD to see if I can see one live prior to purchase.

I hear you. The GMT wears more like a sporty chunky watch than the Sub - all depends on if you like thicker watches or not. I prefer a chunkier watch in sports models, thinner more elegant watches in dress models.

If you go and try on any of the in-house black bays you'll get a good idea how the GMT wears. The case size is identical. The GMT looks a little thinner due to the beveling they did to the bottom of the case. Doesn't change the overall thickness but gives a slightly thinner profile on the wrist.

I love mine and it gets the most wrist time out of my collection. As mentioned above, looks great on any strap or bracelet. Wears terrific, keeps amazing time, ultimate travel watch, and it just makes me smile when I look at it!

Good luck and enjoy!

And THAT's the best reason of all.
