Have you also experienced the Daytona with Oysterflex? What do you think of that?

I have.

It’s a great watch - same comfort - with the ‘modern twist’ of a rubber strap. The OF strap is SUPER comfortable - when properly sized. May be the most comfortable rubber strap I’ve worn.

My Sea-Dweller 16600 is my current fav, I like the aluminum bezel, smaller numerals and indice plots and cyclops-less date window.

On a separate note kinda lol do you guys think a lot of the popular models are only popular as they are hard to get? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I'm assuming if hulk or Batman's were in every store and say two tones were not then maybe two tones be the desired watch? It just seems the harder it is to get the more people want it?

IMO it is part of the appeal. I’ve fallen into this FOMO-trap too many times without truly thinking if I love the reference or not. It has been a little bit like showing off in a wrong way from me... but this kind of enjoyment (look, I am wearing this hard to get Rolex) is about to wear off in a very short time. Actually no-one cares which watch you are wearing...

Every time I’ve tried white DJs (41) on beside my OP39, the dial of the OP just pops in a much richer way. It’s the perfect combination of white and cream IMHO.
And silver in different lighting/angles as well. I read that the dial also has metal flake in the paint which would be the reason for the color changes.

For me it’s my BLNR. I love how versatile it is. Wear with a suit or throw it on an EO strap and wear on the beach

BLNR was my favorite daily wear. A great all-around for me, especially when traveling.
