Clearly, we’re in a weird and unsettling brave new world right now. And not to be all Polyana, but I think we’re, ultimately, gonna be OK. And yes, LKJ, this forum is a great escape/distraction for so many of. So...thank you, guys. You all are awesome.

Also...I STILL can’t believe I bought a dress watch! Pictured here with a Les Paul Custom from the same year.

Beautiful DJ. It's the very sporty end of the dress spectrum, though... Not sure if I'd even call it a dress watch. Especially if you do it like this.

Fair point. Maybe it's the jubilee that adds that touch of elegance that pushes it towards dress-watch status.
I'll try it out with a suit.

...when I buy a suit.

...I mean, if I buy a suit.

Yes, the Jubilee bracelet does give a more dressy feel to a Datejust. Silky smooth, too.

Don't buy that suit... Jeans and T-shirt all the way.

That's beautiful. I've seen that coronet with the big round tips on other 1960s models like the 1500 Date. Never been able to snag one, though.

Yea, it’s pretty cool...on my watch in nearly looks like the coronet melted and smeared out on the dial surface a bit...

Some 34mm love with my Little Engine That Could from 1973. Right time wrong date Serviced and runs like a champ. Appreciate the authenticity and humbleness here.
