This!I've been wearing my old Sub around my apartment every day during lockdown here in Germany. Still gives me great pleasure (vibes?) even after more than 24 years of daily wear...!

Have to agree and just like all watches they just tell the time when needed on the wrist nothing more.

I haven't either.

Working from home in my pajamas. No appointments to keep. The only instance I've needed to know the time in the last 6 weeks was to tune into the NFL Draft.

Far more productive working from home if I get dressed and put a watch on so yes I’m wearing my Rolex.

Wear mine everyday except when cycling. I wear them for my pleasure and not who is looking at them.

I get it if you are at home and feel no need to wear them.

Never take mine off, unless i am rotating it to another. Wear them 24/7, daft as it sounds I feel naked without a watch on.

Mostly wearing my beater iwatch around the house. The iwatch integration with my iPhone is nice taking calls/conference on my iwatch. My Rolex gets wrist time on the weekends lately.

Still been wearing a watch, and enjoying swapping out per usual. Even if I have nowhere to go! Have only been able to admire my recent purchase, as I'm stilll waiting on my sizing tool.

I'm often not even wearing pants. Not much occasion for a watch.

True. It does not jive with the present outfits.

LoL, sure... I wear my SubC everyday. Its the first thing that usually goes on after a shower. If I'm around the house its running shorts and a T-Shirt or Hoody. If I'm going out its something casual. Its a watch I like, no need to dress special to enjoy the time.

I haven't worn a watch since March 23rd, don't tend to bother indoors. Mind you, I haven't really worn proper clothes since then either, just shorts and tee.

I didn't buy my Rolex to make an impression on anyone. I grew out of that vanity stage a long, long time ago (if I ever had that). I do things because I want to and I buy/wear things because I want to. I could care less what anyone thinks of what I am clothes or watch I am wearing. It seems to me there are more people who feel as I do, not the other way around. What I do notice is that younger people care what others think of their status. Believe me all of us go through that at one time.
This is an oddly judgemental sentiment. For many, watches are jewelry. If you want to wear jewelry at home, sure, nothing wrong with that. But it's hardly a sign of superficiality if people aren't wearing jewelry when home alone.

And if you need your watch to tell the time while in your home, you must not be fond of clocks.

I was responding to a comment that was pretty judgemental. If you read the comment I responded to maybe you might see why I posted what I did. To be honest, I don't care the reason why anyone else does what they do. I am not feeding, funding or xxxxxxx them so they don't need my opinion for anything. Here's the post I responded to for context. I also said in my original post that wearing my GMT II is part of keeping some normalcy in my life during these not so normal times. Cheers!
