I know - sounds silly, but Max always misses these (and even if he did catch them, he forgets where to throw them).

I was so proud!
Those are the kind of moments parents never forget because things like that matter SO much and they make our hearts soar.

He struck out once and hit another shot straight off the center field fence. 2 feet higher and it would have gone over. I'm proud of what he did today and he feels good about it too.

Wow!! What a high THAT must have been!!!! Good stuff!!!!!

My older son, Steven, plays AAU baseball and Little League. He made the major league team at age 10 this year and is the starting catcher / #3 hitter on his AAU team. He is currently the #1 hitter in all of New England in the 10 and under age group with a batting average of .818.

My younger son, Andrew, recently came in 1st place in 3 of 6 events at the RI State Gymnastics Championships. He also took 2nd in the other 3 events.
Super stuff! You have ever right to be SO proud!!!

What could make a man more proud than to know his son has his priorities straight! Must be a great kid!

You guys have some really nifty kids - it's been fun reading about them, so please keep them coming!

Hmmm.... let's see what my kiddos can offer...

Violet is 22 months and has just completed her second successful attempt at laundry chute diving.

June is almost 6 and only answers to "Mike."

Phoebe is 9 1/2, can hold both her sisters' heads under water for 4 minutes simultaneously, and plans to be a "Goth" for most of her adult life.

(just teasing... I don't know what's gotten into me today!)

I know then he wanted to be a pro footballer (soccer) was pretty good as well, played in a few prestigious youth tournaments abroad but was always small for his age, often playing against kids twice his size and a few years older. It was his decision to give up football as he would have had to train five times a week plus playing and concentrate on his studies which was a very big decision for him

Lisa, this was freakin' hilarious! You really need to think about writing a book for parents.

Yeah.....I would have arrived at the finish line just in time for them to open the lid on that expensive mahogany box.

Here are the girls with all the hardware they won this year. Not too shabby, one trophy/banner for each member of the team.
