More of you guys need to be posting videos.
Saxophone here. Many, many years. Studied in college, then unfortunately burned out. Always fancied myself as an up and coming jazz musician (moreso Big Band), but...didn't really have the "personality." Classical is the road I went down, but classical + saxophone didn't really make sense in my head. And still doesn't. Kept composing, because that was really enjoyable and a bit of a release. Picked up playing again when my oldest started playing bassoon. Wanted to pick up guitar during covid lockdown, but my work never slowed, and with having the boys home full time, the timing just didn't work out. |

Bozzio... since the 80s during Missing Persons I admired his custom electronic kit, and been following his evolution ever since. I interviewed Terry a few years back, saw him play a few times over the decades, etc. Percussion playing is soooo sweet, and drums too. Given one or the other would choose percussion. Thx everyone. BTW did the Synare thing when they were new, then the brilliant Bill Bruford sold me on Simmons thing so had those... and had Roland V Session when they came out. Electric has pros and cons, yet a great acoustic set....

I had a recording studio for many years, produced a couple of albums for local bands... wrote and recorded a bit myself. All quite Steely Dan inspired stuff - the jazz end of the spectrum. |

We love to blend genres that can make it hard to categorize. In fact, we've heard from a few that this track [Why Don't You] reminds them of early Steely Dan. I'm not sure I hear that but as long they're listening, that's what matters to me. dP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90d0hU84zno

As a fellow musician, it reminds me that there are some hugely talented people out there - who do it for pleasure more than financial gain. I've listened to most of your tracks, a very polished group of musicians - nicely produced too. I am also slightly* jealous of your live playing too... I am strictly studio as I've never really felt I have that 'mojo' required for live play. Good skills my friend.
