My favorite gift was a new knife set. Pretty pumped about it!

A pair of Yaktrax for my boots. I'm honestly kicking myself that I didn't get these years ago. Anyone who regularly walks in a snowy/icy environment should pick them up.

After a 14-month wait, this custom made 14" x 5.75" Sonor SQ2 medium Beech snare with hand-stained / light lacquer Rosewood outer arrived just in time for the holidays.
NOTE: While she has Die-Cast rims on her within the below pics, also have standard 'Power' rims and like the sound with the Power rims better, more 'fat' wood sound and less 'ringy'. Very dynamically expressive, with lots of detail as subtle snares meets the glorious Beech wood shell's sound. Cross-sticking is very meaty too :) Snare_Drum.jpg Snare_Drum_bottom.jpg Snare_Drum_side.jpg
